Full titles read: “’FOILED !’ A peep at the Ladies London Fencing Club.“ L/S of several women wearing protective face masks fencing. Inter title reads: “’Fencing is the finest possible for ladies’, says Mr Leon Bertrand, the famous Fencer, ’It’s equally attractive as a sport... ’“ M/S of the women putting the protective headgear on and launching into combat with their opponents. Good C/U of two sword blades clashing. Inter title reads: “A match between two expert - exponents of the Italian Style - Miss Pollock-Smith and Miss Lightly.“ Several shots of the two experts fencing. A teacher points out what the two women are doing to students of the sport who watch in the action. Miss Pollock-Smith wins the contest.
