Cavatelli Pasta, Marinated Tomatoes, & Broccolini

Making pasta from scratch is always a good refresher for me and really starts the creative flavor machine going. This recipe can be adjusted in a multitude of ways and can be over the top or very basic in terms of ingredient complexity. I tend to go with simple lately so this is what I came up with. Ingredients: Pasta: 1 1/2 cup 00 flour (adjust for consistency) 1/4 cup cold water 5 egg yolks 3 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp salt Marinated Tomatoes: 1 cup sliced cherry tomatoes 1 garlic clove, grated 1 tsp rosemary, chopped 1 tsp thyme, chopped 3 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar salt and pepper to toste Blanched broccolini (optional) Sliced chives Parmesan Cheese SUBSCRIBE: BUSINESS INQUIRY: byronlovesfood@
