Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon - H. Moser & Cie.

The new Streamliner Centre Seconds has finally arrived. After the original model that was introduced in 2020 with a verdant Matrix Green dial, many of you were wondering what would come next. But we bet you weren’t expecting this! The slick steel wave is about to make an even bigger splash with a totally new dial colour for H. Moser & Cie.: Smoked Salmon. Vividly nuanced, the Smoked Salmon dial reflects a broad spectrum of tones as the wrist moves, shifting from dark chocolate through to gleaming gold. Its vertically brushed griffé finish further adds to the dynamism of the dial, going from black to an unexpected mirror effect as it catches the light. For those wondering whether the dial color is in fact salmon, H. Moser & Cie.’s CEO (and seasoned fly fisher) Edouard Meylan says, “There is salmon and there is salmon. Our inspiration does not come from the traditional Atlantic salmon, or “Salmo salar“ to give it its Latin name, but from its very rare cousin, the “Oncorhynchus kisutch“. Allowed to mature in total freedom and massaged each day by specialists using an oil infused with aromatic herbs picked from the slopes of the Himalayas, this species only eats crustaceans that have been pre-digested by pink flamingos. Each individual fish is smoked using a secret recipe made using Scottish whisky. This is what gives the flesh this exceptional colour and is the inspiration behind our new dial.“ While not a limited edition, the Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon is destined to remain a Very Rare timepiece. As such, the model will only be produced for one year. Learn more: Follow us: Instagram: Facebook:
