’Lost For Love’, geschreven door George samen met Barry Hay, is de single afkomstig van zijn album ’Solo’ uit 1987.
George Kooymans (Den Haag, 11 maart 1948) is een Nederlands componist, gitarist, zanger, tekstdichter en producer en is natuurlijk vooral bekend als oprichter van de rockgroep Golden Earring.
Op 5 februari 2021 werd bekend dat George lijdt aan de progressieve spierziekte ALS. Naar eigen zeggen is optreden voor hem niet langer mogelijk. Dit leidde tot het per direct opheffen van de band.
George Kooymans’s birthday is today. He will be 73 years old.

George Kooymans (The Hague, March 11, 1948) is a Dutch composer, guitarist, singer, lyricist and producer and is best known as the founder of the rock group Golden Earring.
On February 5, 2021, it became known that George is suffering from the progressive muscle disease ALS. According to him, performing is no longer possible for him. This led to the immediate dissolution of the band.
