Quake Speedrun in 11:39 (Current WR)

Oh god, I did it, I have no words, but I did. All those 10 months of intense grind paid off. I cannot describe what I feel right now, cause that’s something that’s impossible to describe using words. I started grinding this game, back in November 2022, when I finished my Quake 2 journey. And my Quake 1 path would be impossible, if not for Colossus, who gifted me the game so I could run it, cause I’m Russian and I couldn’t buy the game on Steam (Many publishers simply hidden their games from Russians, like Bethesda who owns id Software). And after I got my hands on Quake I started my grind. I was running episodes at first, just to get used to the Single-Segment nature of this game. And then, after I got a SS run on every episode I began running Full Game SS, and after a small grind I got my first run: 14:34. And then every week or every month I was pbing, step by step, slowly, but surely. And eventually at 12th of September 2023, I got this run. I just wanna thank every single person who were watching my streams and supporting me during this really long grind. That’s truly the biggest achievement in my life! Thank you!
