Filament Eruption (11/22/2015)

Good morning. A large filament stretching across the southeast quadrant erupted within the past several hours (Nov 22, 2015). The eruption began at approximately 07:30 UTC and did launch a coronal mass ejection (CME) into space as per the latest coronagraph imagery by STEREO Ahead. More updates to follow once updated Earth facing imagery courtesy of LASCO C2 becomes available.
