Long-Duration Solar Flare and Earth-Directed Partial Halo Coronal Mass Ejection - January 20. 2024.

A long-duration Flare detected around the active Region 3555 earlier today (Jan. 20, 2024). The solar flare was produced a partial halo CME with an Earth-Directed component. A filament eruption was also observed just to the north of center disk beginning after 20/08:20 UTC. These events will be analyzed and modeled once additional coronagraph imagery is received.
