EXPEDITION IRAN // Climbing Mount Damavand 5,671m (Short Film)
My father and I had this crazy idea of climbing the highest mountain in the Middle East: the volcano of Mount Damavand in Iran (5,671m). Why not? That’s what we thought. Upon arrival we immediately noticed the beauty of this wonderful country and it’s people.
We started our trip in Isfahan, the cultural capital of Iran. After a few days of getting used to our surroundings we headed to the Lar National Park to start our expedition. The climb took a total of 4 days, with (in our opinion) little time for acclimatization. Nevertheless, all 8 people in our group made it to the summit.
Iran is a beautiful place and I can only recommend you to travel to this country. The hospitality of the people you come across will leave you impressed.
Feel free to like, comment, and share! Cheers, Mark
