Spirit of Truth - Robert Sarmast

Robert Sarmast’s diverse background and international travel imbue him with a broad awareness of culture and a sharp eye for detail. He was born in Iran to a Muslim mother and raised by a Jewish grandmother. He arrived in the U.S. at 11 years of age, and at 18, Robert “got the call” to embark on the wild adventure of truth seeking. Abandoning materialistic ventures, he spent the next twenty years on an investigation that brought him to the Urantia Book in the mid 1990’s. In the Urantia Book, Robert found stimulus for personal growth and inspiration for history-based projects. From 2004 to 2007, he returned to the Middle East twice with scientific expeditions he organized to find the Garden of Eden (Atlantis) in the ocean bed between Cyprus and Syria. His discoveries, there, were both archaeological and cultural. He realized that the people he spoke with in Cyprus were very open minded about revelation. This, he observed, sharply contrasted with the pervasively secular society in the United States.
