This video was among the 12 best in the Sören Sieg Music Video Competition 2021! Johanna explains: “My name is Johanna Rist. I’m 14 years old. I have been taking recorder and piano lessons since I was seven. I have been learning the organ as another instrument for 3 years. I chose a piece from Umonde for the competition. It appealed to me to work with the looper because it allows me to make music like in a band. The technology invites you to experiment and so I added the glockenspiel and instead of the batons clapped the rhythm with my hands. I chose the pace a little faster than specified. My equipment was very simple: the loop station BOSS RC-30, a microphone SHURE SM 58, our Sonoro radio as loudspeaker, my smartphone for the sound and an iPad for the video recordings. The editing program I used was iMovie. The music video was made during our summer vacation in the picturesque town of Morcote in Ticino (CH). It shows the way past the church of Santa Maria del Sasso
