Trust me, you need a capo or something otherwise! I also want this to serve as a testament that you don’t need expensive guitars to do great music. I don’t have an Epiphone Casino or a Les Paul, so I did this on a $300 Gretsch and a Telecaster I built myself. My bass is a $200 Rogue that I bought years ago and modded (plays better than any Hofner I’ve tried). Plus, this was recorded with the rich acoustics (ahem) of my one-bedroom apartment and a Shure microphone, so if I can do it, so can you. It’s all about the soul, man! Sorry about the bad lighting.
