Quake Compendium - Fiend

The Fiend is a very vicious creature that loves to rip and tear anything it finds to shreds. They attack by using a pair of claws, though by far their most infamous attack is their ability to leap at their foes. This attack is quite deadly, in fact it has been known to instantly kill people, meaning it is quite the deadly opponent. It also takes a lot more health than most of the things the player has faced up to the point of meeting one. The Fiends mobility means that they can often travel around a lot faster than other opponents, with their main weakness being that they only do this when their opponent is nearby. This means they are often easier to take out when there is a good amount of distance between the player and his foe. As long as the player learns to strafe (Quake will make you get used to that) it should be relatively easy to defeat this beast.
