The Vore is a powerful enemy only found in the retail version of Quake. Similar to the Bruiser Brothers of Doom, they make their first appearance as a pair of bosses at the end of a slow-moving elevator at the very end of the second Episode. Then the later Episodes reintroduce them as standard enemies that the player will have to deal with.
