Tempera on canvas. 81 x 100 cm. 2018 A fantasy on the theme of the four seasons, a dreamlike image of autumn in the Russian countryside, where smoke from chimneys transforms in the sky into the long and silky hairs of a goat. The sky covers the calm and serene countryside like a shawl knitted by laboring hands of a peasant woman. Like a beautiful shawl of my grandmother. This shawl that she sent me last year from Russia and whis is on my shoulders now, when I am writing these words.
