Interviews and music from 1979-80 tell the story of John & Paul’s enduring emotional and creative connection and their attempts at “Starting Over“ before time abruptly ran out. --- After a recent string of hits (and being awarded the most successful songwriter of all time) Paul takes a more experimental route and begins work on cult classic McCartney II, bewildering critics and mainstream audiences with strange and sometimes dark forays into what would eventually be called electronica.
