1947 Dodge WJ-57 Truck

This is a 1947 Dodge WJ-57 2 1/2 ton truck. This was purchased by the South Euclid (Ohio) Fire Dept. as a pumper. It was “retired“ in the early ’70’s and stored in a barn. I purchased it at auction and got the old girl running and looking like new again with a lot of help. It has 15,575 original miles. It starts and runs very well, as you can hear. I plan to put an old wooden water well drilling rig on the back of her. I kept the lights and sirens (which all work!) and “American Fire Apparatus“ badge
