Magnetic deflection of beta particles from Sr-90

(Adolf Cortel, November 2013) This video shows how easy is to deflect beta particles from a radioactive source (Sr-90) with a magnet. A geiger tube detects the change in the counting when a magnet is brought near a beam of beta particles.
