We are pleased to reveal the first muscle of the anatomical model — the Quadriceps Femoris. The animation depicts the muscle’s primary function — an extension of the leg at the knee joint via the patellar ligament — the strongest ligament in our body. Please note the very particular pathway of the muscle fibers for each head of the quadriceps.
