Is it badass to sprint through a hail of bullets to clobber raider over the head with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire? Sure! Are melee weapons overrated in a post-apocalypse settings? Kinda... depending on the situation, of course. Firearms are like Pandora’s Box. And not having any when others might is a bit like strolling through bug-infested swamps without mosquito repellant, or riding a motorcycle without a helmet... you can do it, but you might regret it.
