Slender Fortress - Demo Samedi [TF2 Freak | New Boss!]

[KR] Slender Fortress NxN’s IP: Make sure to use the command on console: Connect to enter the server! Heyo Everyone!!! Almost done with the “Hot Day’s Surprise“ Update! We are now checking out the TF2 Freak that is Demo Samedi! Created by Joako and JuegosPablo! He can be found in Pack 12. Demo Samedi is a Proxy Master and a Fast Nightmare Chaser, coming with 4 different melee attacks, two of them where he swings his sword while moving slightly foward, a standing leg kick attack and a triple sword combo, where first hit he stands in place but moves for the other two hits! He also comes with a projectile attack, that being a fireball with some homing, this attack changes as we go to Nightmare and Apollyon difficulties. Lastly we have a “unique attack“ that we seem on ULTRAKILL Cerberus and Senator Armstrong and that is where he does a little standing animation, but upon finishing this animation his speed has been heavily increased a lot for a limited amount of time! His proxies are zombie scout proxies, holding a boston basher, dealing about 11 damage on hit but causing bleed on hit as well! Demo Samedi can be melee stun, requiring about 5 to 6 hits to be stunned, dropping a medium health pack, having about 2 second of stun I think. So he’s a really strong boss you don’t wanna face or get chased by, while proxies might be an annoyance, maybe too much with his strenght is an archetype we don’t see much action nowadays, so moving to the other archetype of Fast Nightmare Chaser, it has been a while since I ever thought of this category of a boss, while the word Fast is there because fast chasers are speedy but not persistent, so that applies to this boss in a way, but combined with the strenght of a Nightmare Chaser, in short a Nightmare Chaser is basically the strongest type of chaser that you can see around, having almost no weakness to be used to survive encounters, he’s speedy thanks to his speed buff, he hits really hard, dealing 50 type of dmgs, he’s hard to stun, has no grace so chases start instantly, has overall average hearing but good sight. Albit this whole description gives the boss a power creep kind of scare, he’s still outrunable and beatable, as he’s not just straight up op, just requires a more careful thought progress compared to all other bosses, for Normal-Insane he’s very managable, the fireball, now that it got nerfed is dodgable if you got the right set up, but still hurts a lot to be hit by. Now when we get to go Nightmare difficulty against this boss, we could say we are facing the old days (in glubs) of any survival chaser/charger boss, where chase = death, his stats are so strong, we honestly should be considered just a charger as you are not living the encounter unless you have funny business with nav. His fireball attack changes to a multi-fireball of 5 or 6 fireballs, while dealing a lot less damage is damage that is all shot at once! For Apollyon, I think it becomes 10 fireballs at really high speed, but they deal 300 damage so that’s an silly insta-kill! In a way, this boss is giving the category Nightmare Chaser, meaning once again, as it manages to achieve the right amount of toughness the word “nightmare“ should give, while staying balanced for the normal-hardcore-insane difficulty, still rough, then becoming as one could say “unfair“ for nightmare , but I like this change of pace! It has take a while to struck the meaning of this boss as, well all other bosses in the server has been quite forgiving and have been quite playful around, as Demo Samedi is, this is more of a serious boss and I enjoy this different feeling I have gotten from him, but I can also see balance around it can be rough, as currently unsure about stun.
