It would’ve dealt a serious blow to our infrastructure as all our electricity is tied to this plant. HQ believes that Mi-24’s were just being used as a decoy but I messed their plans. The enemy sabotage team couldn’t get to the generators as our defenses were too strong, they dropped the explosives and started to retreat through the canyon. We gathered a pursuit group and got to them in the first village but they didn’t fight us. Instead they gathered all the civilians in a village store, locked them there and threatened to set it on fire if we didn’t fulfill their demands. Their demands were very simple – they needed a helicopter. To fulfill their demands meant to give them our only Mi-8 with crew. This was unacceptable to us.
