Angry Ibrahim Traore fearlessly denounces ECOWAS for imposing sanctions on Burkina, Mali, and Niger

Captain Ibrahim Traoré expressed his strong disappointment with the utter lack of recognition from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) regarding their tremendous efforts in the fight against terrorism. He emphasized that, to his knowledge, ECOWAS has never even issued a single press release to congratulate their victory against terrorists. This raises serious questions about the relevance and effectiveness of the organization in addressing security concerns in the region. As a result, Captain Traoré and his team have made the difficult but necessary decision to withdraw from ECOWAS and fully focus on their own organization, the African Emergency Services (AES). This decision was made after careful consideration and with the aim of maximizing the impact of their efforts in combating terrorism and promoting peace and stability in West Africa. Captain Traoré recently addressed concerns regarding the importation of certain basic necessities into Burkina Faso, which have been banned by some countries in the sub-region. He reassured the Burkinabè people not to be afraid, as the country is capable of ensuring its food self-sufficiency. He further stated that once the ban expires, the government will prohibit the entry of these products into Burkinabe territory. Captain Traoré also shared that Burkina Faso has had many successful experiments this year, and it has been proven that the country can become self-sufficient in terms of food. Burkina Faso has an abundance of fertile land that can grow various crops. The country is home to brave and hardworking peasants who will continue to cultivate their land with dignity. The government aims to support these farmers by providing necessary resources and infrastructure to ensure their success. Therefore, Burkina Faso is taking steps to be less reliant on imports and to strengthen its agricultural sector.
