Flintknapping one of Otzi the Iceman’s Arrowheads and Life in the Late Neolithic

Otzi the Iceman is one of the most important archaeological discoveries of all time. Otzi was a man who lived 5,300 years ago during a time called the Late Neolithic, when people in Europe were just beginning to use metal tools. His mummified, frozen remains were found near the border of Italy and Austria, high up in the Italian Alps. He had a number tools and other artifacts found with him, including a copper-bladed axe, a flint dagger, and two flint-tipped arrows. Here, I make a replica of one of the arrowheads found with him and discuss about this incredible archaeological find.
