Matterhorn Wingsuit Flight 2021

Perfect conditions, raw and uncut. Just the flight down, no suffering on the way up is shown in this video! The hike up was a full adventure... I didn´t really know how my body would behave up 4000m in the first place ... and without proper acclimatisation next. From 3900 on it was hard, we had to wait a lot and at the same time could feel the altitude. At the Solvay hut at 4003m we had a short break, after that I felt better, the peak came closer and closer. Determination. There was no reason to stop - nor to rush! The weather was perfect and it was 8:40. Easy. The next 200m to the shoulder were ok, but higher up at the fixed ropes it became kinda ... bad. The early birds are coming down with their guests - lots of ellbowtechnique needed and one has to breath twice for every single inhale... But the last 100m snowfield is a Stairway to Heaven, I couldn´t wait to get higher and higher, step by step by step.
