This week’s Tell me a Story Tuesday is a brilliant classic by Shirley Hughes. Alfie Gives a Hand tells the story of a little boy called Alfie, who is invited to his very first birthday party. He isn’t sure what to expect and doesn’t want to let go of his beloved blanket. After lots of party food and games, will Alfie part ways with his blanket to help his friend?
