Nuclotron

The superconducting synchrotron -- Nuclotron operates in two basic modes: 1. Acceleration of heavy ions for injection into the collider and acceleration of beams with polarized protons and deuterons injection in the collider. 2. The acceleration of protons, deuterons (polarized and unpolarized) and heavy ion experiments at the internal target or the extracting beams on fixed targets.
