L/S of the successful second start of the cross country race. M/S of runners racing along a muddy track, they run towards the camera, passing cheering spectators. M/S of a group of runners running over a muddy field. M/S of lone competitor running between two cheering crowds of supporters to the finishing line - presumably this is the winner, Payne. M/S of the three winning competitors posing for the camera, they all look out of breath, Payne stands on the left of the screen. After a second of spacing, cuts / out takes start at 01:15:56.
