Shushi. Documentary film

The fortress city of Shushi is located in the Shushi region of the Artsakh Republic. In fall of 2020, it came under the control of the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and some began to spread planned information that it was an ancient Azerbaijani city with Muslim monuments and culture. The forces engaged in the distortion of history got to the point that a part of the Armenian society began to believe in that falsification. This film aims to counteract the Azerbaijani-Turkish propaganda with clear historical and chronological facts. The speakers and chroniclers of our film state why and how foreigners lived in the city of Shushi of Armenian Artsakh and why it could not be considered Azerbaijani. The 52-minute film was made by the Armenian Second TV channel and has no sponsors. The filmmakers dedicate it to the fortress city of Shushi, which is waiting for the Armenian tricolor to wave on its fences again. The film uses materials and videos from the open sources of the internet.
