An alert level of 1 means that the volcano is experiencing minor disturbances. As a result of the eruption, a steam-saturated gray plume at least 1 km high was formed, which drifted to the west. Fivolks said ashfall was reported in the municipalities of Juban and Kasiguran in Sorsogon.
