The first is for the film “Marihuana“ released by Roadshow Attractions Corp. The second (2:46) is for “Maniac“ aka “Sex Maniac“. The coming attractions end and at 7:15 is another snipe for the movie theater snack bar featuring bon bon ice cream, candy and popcorn. There’s a three minute intermission so you can stock up! “Maniac“ is a 1934 black-and-white film, directed by Dwain Esper and written by his wife Hildagarde Stadie. It is a loose adaptation of the Edgar Allan Poe story “The Black Cat“. The film was advertised with the tagline “He menaced women with his weird desires!“ Released in 1936
