Lion Among The Pups (1957)

Germany, Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany). SCU. The Boxer dog, Daisy with her puppies feeding from her. On the right lays the lion called Negus. Negus is brought up by Daisy and remains a member of the family. CU. Pups feeding from mother. CU. Lion’s head. SV. Milk is poured into their feeding tray and the lion and the dog start drinking. Puppies also coming up to the tray. SCU. Lion, mother and the puppies all drinking. One of the puppies having trouble to get in. CU. Lion’s paw lifts the tray off the ground much to the disgust of the dogs. SCU. Mother dog looking on, looking very dejected. SV. Lion playing with one of the pups which has it’s paw in the lion’s mouth. Lion’s paw comes round and pushes the pup over onto it’s back. CU. Lion licking the pup’s face - very cute. SV. Lion lying on its side while the puppies crawl over it. SCU. Puppies on the lion’s side, & CU. CU. Lion with one of the pup’s tails in its mouth, pup trying to get free. SCU.
