Leather Bushcraft Axe Sheath Making, Whole Process

Leatherworking is one of our occupation as well as blacksmithing, tailoring and woodworking. In this video I wanted to share how we make leather sheath for our handforged bushcraft axes. In this video I used vegetal leather with its own pure color. As you can see in the video I used beewax to increase the contrast of the leather which i think is better than the leather dyes and such. It gives more organic look to the leather. The only chemical I used on the leatherwork process was the glue. I hope you enjoy the handmade axe sheath that I made for one of our customer.
