The next single, ’Change’, is a showcase of the duo’s creative prowess, blending immersive electronic influences with loose grooves to create a silky deep house cut that boasts rich melodies and dreamy vocal injections. Maritime Yacht Club is the brainchild of UK artist and Origins Rcrds label boss Josh Butler, alongside longtime friend and talented singer/songwriter and producer José Rosa. Their first major project together, ’Got A Feeling’, celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2013 and has received an incredible amount of accolades since its release, including winning an award for the biggest-selling track of 2013 on Beatport. Their forthcoming twelve-track debut album, set to be released in 2023, promises to deliver sultry, vocal-led dance cuts with elements of deep house, breaks, jazz, electro, and much more. The project was born during the lockdown in 2020, providing an outlet for José and Josh to collaborate during a difficult time. The result is a diverse and exciting body of work that is sure to fuel standout dancefloor moments for years to come. José comments, “We wanted to create a concept that was different to anything else out there. We felt combining vocal-led underground house and commercial sounds would create a unique and captivating result.
