The airport is very spotter friendly is sees some very unique traffic like Air Greenland A330-800neo acting as the main international link to Greenland, Atlantic Airways to the Faroe islands and more! The airport is also a large hub for SAS - the airline is based in Stockholm but its largest hub is Copenhagen. In 2019, Copenhagen saw 30.2 million passengers making it the busiest airport among the scandinavian countries. The airport is the 22nd busiest airport in Europe as of 2021 (17th busiest in 2019).
