“八月桂花遍地开“ - August Bloom of the Fragrant Osmanthus (Sichuan Red Song)

This song, alternatively translated as “Osmanthus Flowers Blooming Everywhere in August“ among many other translations, is a Red Song from Sichuan. The music comes from the tune Eight Pieces of Brocade, or Ba Duan Jin (八段锦), named after an exercise routine. The tune hails from the Dabie mountains. I do not get many subscribers off my videos. All translations here and on the Kuai channel are self made, and I put a lot of effort into making sure they are accurate. So please, subscribe and share this video with a friend, a discord server, or a back-alley homeless man. Thanks! Kuai Channel: @kuaichannel Partnership with Vandistan ended.
