MAXON RTD800 Real Tube OD/DIST: Overdrive component (PRS to HIWATT)

Maxon RTD800 Real Tube Overdrive/Distortion | Real Tube II Series ... Wow. This is a mother of a pedal. Tube warmth, Overdrive and Distortion (Distortion component demo at a seriously good Noise Gate, 3-9dB Boost and a rugged but handsome build. Nice. And then there’s the sound. Hallelujah! I’m sold. This one is staying with me. It brings the rock, big time. Well done Maxon. I can see that I’m going to have to further investigate more of your gear soon. This video was recorded with a PRS Studio guitar. The amp is my trusty HIWATT Custom 50 SA212. The mic is a Violet Design ’The Amethyst Standard’ condenser planted dead centre and about 4 inches away from the left speaker. It was LOUD in the room. Pro Tools 9 recorded it.
