The Dukha, Tsaatan are a small Tuvan community of semi-nomadic reindeer herders living in Khuvsgul, the northernmost province of Mongolia. The name Tsaatan, which means ‘those who have reindeer’ in the Mongolian language, were originally Tuvinian reindeer herders. There about 400 Dukha people of 70-80 families live in communities, usually a group of two to seven households.
