Ennis Owl Cam Live Stream

Welcome to a live feed of a family of Great Horned Owls from Ennis, Texas. The nest was built by the owners of the property in 2012 after they heard the lovely sound of hooting in the nearby trees. Over the next few winters, the male and female would visit the nest but were not ready to commit. Finally, in 2017 we were fortunate enough to witness the raising of the first 2 owlets. They were in the area the following year (2018) but didn’t raise a family. 2019 and 2020 both had successful families. 2021 was not as successful. Even though she laid 2 eggs, only 1 ended up being viable. This year, she laid her first egg at 1:30 AM on 1/14/2022, the second at 6:30 PM on 1/16/2022 and her third on 1/20/2022 at 4:30 AM. We have been blessed beyond imagination to witness this wonderful look into the wild natural world of Great Horned Owls and are happy that you are here to enjoy it as well.
