U.S. Soldiers Newly Arrives in Poland On December 9, 2022, American soldiers from the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, arrive in Poznan, Poland, in support of Operation European Assure, Deter, and Reinforce. The 1 ID is thrilled to be supplying combat-capable forces to the V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe, in cooperation with NATO allies and local security partners.
