A short film with live on-site recording of the Red Army Balalaika Ensemble concert at Kirovsky (former Putilovsky) Plant in Leningrad. The programme includes “Shine, our Five-Ended Star“, chastushki (rhymes) about defense, and a dance. At the end a woman from the factory’s Party committee says some exaggerated words of gratitude to the visitors from Moscow.
