Paula Chamlee Photographer

From May 18, 2013 through September 29, 2013, the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown has an exhibition featuring 11 artists. It is called “Creative Hand, Discerning Heart: Form, Rhythm, Song“ and this film profiles the photographer Paula Chamlee. Paula Chamlee’s art is about the rhythms of nature and she captures these rhythms with her photographs, her collages, and her paintings. She grew up on the Texas Panhandle and has a wonderful feeling for landscape. She and her husband Michael A. Smith, in addition to their artistic work, run Lodima Press, a high end publishing company for fine art photography books.
