Dirtwire - Karabai (feat Robert Yuldashev)

Our new single Karabai is the first track off our new forthcoming EP “The Four Directions” - dropping this Fall 2023! Karabai came together as a special collaboration with Robert Yuldashev from the band Kuraysi. Robert is a virtuoso of the kuray flute from the Southern Ural Mountains of Bashkortostan. The cheerful melody he plays inspires happiness and dance! In 2018 Dirtwire was invited to come to Astana, Kazakhstan and represent the USA at the Spirit of Tengri, an ethnic musical arts festival celebrating 20 years of independent Kazakhstan. We got to play for the people and our performance was streamed on national television. It was great to see the crowd feeling our music. We were fortunate to have gotten to record with Robert Yuldashev at our hotel who played the main melody of Karabai and inspired the track!
