THE Iron Dome in Israel is the first missile interceptor of its kind in the world, and is said to have a 90 per cent success rate at bringing down targets. Thousands of rockets have been intercepted by the mobile air defence system, including during violent clashes with Gaza in May 2021. Here’s the lowdown on the high tech system.
