His name, “Yeshua,“ means “salvation“ or “Yahweh is salvation.“ From the moment of His birth, the purpose of His life was clear—to save His people from their sins and offer redemption to all who believe in Him. In Matthew 1:21, an angel appears to Joseph in a dream and instructs him to give the baby’s name Yeshua (Jesus). This name carries profound significance, for it points to the very mission of Jesus on earth—to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Yeshua’s life on earth was marked by compassion, love, and unwavering obedience to His Heavenly Father. He healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, and proclaimed the good news of God’s Kingdom.
