My Seed Grown Jubaea chilensis on Salt Spring Island

The most cold tolerant feather palm on this planet. I obtained the seeds for this specimen from Locarno, Switzerland. The other Jubaeas I grew were seeds collected for me in Chile. These palms grow massive, but are very slow growing. It was a balmy 25 Celcius in my greenhouse. April 15, 2010
