Vermont: A Bristol police officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after their cruiser rolled down an embankment in Monkton Wednesday night. It happened just before midnight on Silver Street. Vermont State Police say Officer Armin Nukic was trying to avoid downed powerlines and that the soft shoulder gave way and the cruiser rolled about 30 feet down the embankment.
