Fundraiser: WhoMadeWho – Hybrid DJ Set – Pink Lake, Ukraine – August 2020

Fundraiser for Ukraine to provide housing for families with children: Two years ago, in August, 2020 we played in peaceful Ukraine during a stunning sunset, and were amazed by the beauty of the Pink Lake and the cheerful Ukrainian crowd. Today the people you see attending our performance, are refugees of war, defending their country, who are helping others in their struggle for peace. Apart from the current hardships of the ongoing invasion, more than over a hundred thousand families have lost their homes. They moved to other regions of Ukraine and a lot live in refugee camps and common spaces, with little hope to come back to normal life. Today, the Ukrainian festival we played for is driving the ’HUTIR’ humanitarian project. It aims to construct fast-built settlements to provide free and long-term housing for families with children in a safe region of Ukraine.
