Panther SdKfz 171 Panzer V

The Panther SdKfz 171 Panzer V was a medium tank developed by Germany during World War II. It entered service in mid-1943 and fought until the end of the war in Europe in 1945. It was designed to counter the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks, and to replace the Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. It had a powerful 75 mm KwK 42 gun that could destroy most enemy tanks at long ranges. It also had a sloped armor that increased its protection level. However, it suffered from mobility and reliability issues, and was always outnumbered by the Allied and Soviet tanks.
