The founders of a domestic abuse charity have revealed their shock at the moment Queen Camilla surprised them with a Pride of Britain (PoB) Award in recognition for their work over the past decade. The Queen Consort told Diana Parkes and Hetti Barkworth-Nanton that ’nobody deservers it more’ than the pair. The pair set up the Joanna Simpson Foundation in 2014 to help raise awareness of the impact of domestic violence and transform the care, support and protection of children affected by domestic violence and homicide.
