Tone poem for large orchestra. Czech Philharmonic, conducted by Karel Sejna, recorded 1966. The subject is a climb into the magnificent Tatra mountains - like a miniature Alpine symphony. First the climb, with spectacular views. Then the clouds build up until a furious storm rages with flashes of lightning.
